Week 14
I
like videos about living things, I like this section about videos because is
important for my students research about topics that involved Science and Math problems.
One of the projects that my students should present will be about Wild Animals.
Using Ted-Ed and
videos, would help me to create question and quizzes about the same topic
and also the idea of showing videos will help my student find the true of the
wild life around the world.
I
also will like to share those videos with other teachers and staff members, to
find out about the existence of other wild life around our world. Also
create my students accounts to keep them involve and understand about other important subject
matters.
I
also want my students to create a history notebook, and keep them alien for
future classes, at Google Docs; I will have videos and photos to share the wild
life history notebook, and get contact to any animal organization. Help students understand about preservation animal life, we can create notebooks that
can express how much we love wild animals and how much we care.
My
5th grade classroom will be part of the adventure by creating their
own videos and also write about the way they survive in the dessert or forest
in the mountains or in the shadow, in the rivers or in the snow.
My
students will have different forms of searching for their topics, they can use
their smartphones and continue finding pictures and also create their own
questions to share them in the classroom.
The
challenge is going to be great, but I know that my students will beat it. They
also have a discussion place and have to write their own blogs. Every weekend
will turn in their writing post about the life of different animals.
The
students will create their own blogs and share them with other students during
their first semester and later will be graded in my spreadsheet every week. All
this wonderful job will save me time, so I can have time to go to my exercise and
share also with my flowers and else.
I
love to use Videos and Google Docs and Smartphones, with all this tools I can help
my students, and myself I am sure my students love to see videos about science
and math. They are going to be happy and learn fast, they also learn new words.

ReplyDeleteI love your idea about wild animal videos in the classroom, but even more, the idea of allowing the students to make their own videos. Having them research and find facts about the animal's survival will be very informative to the rest of the class. Science is one of those subjects that is so full of information. It is a subject matter that is so entertaining as well. Thank you for sharing.

ReplyDeleteI, too, am a huge animal activist and conservationist. I found your idea of using videos to teach about wild animals and other species around the world. This goes to show that video education does not only apply to the classroom, but can also be used for public education and presentations to all age groups.

ReplyDeleteI think that your video about animals is very amazing. I think that children need to be more familiar with nature so that they understand that they have an effect on animals as well. This can help them take care of their environment better. I also think that using videos for quizzes is a great idea because it can help the student focusing more on the assignment.
